Getting Around Downtown
DART (Dallas Area Rapid Transit) gets you around Dallas and surrounding areas with modern public transit services including DART Rail, Trinity Railway Express (TRE), and DART Bus, and the FREE Streetcar to Bishop Arts. dart.org GoPass - DART’s Mobile ticketing app: dart.org/gopass/default.asp Dallas also has a free Trolley (MATA) connecting downtown and uptown. Bicycle Paths and Trails

How to Report Panhandling Aggressive Panhandling is illegal. DPD & Downtown Dallas Inc request any aggressive panhandling be reported by calling 911 or by contacting Safety Patrol. Give the location/route and physical description of panhandler. Please report all Panhandling through the See, Say, Now App to the Safety Patrol. Please GIVE to charities (The Bridge, The Stewpot and Our Calling) that provide services to the homeless and NOT direct to Panhandlers. Downtown Safety Patrol Downtown Dallas Inc. funds a private security force called Downtown Safety Patrol. Look for them in their BLUE uniforms. The Safety Patrol provides a FREE safety escort to/from any Downtown location - call 7 days a week from 5:30am until 1:00am at 214-741-1151.
